Abstract :
A very simple but efficient numerical computation method of density evolution using a Gaussian approximation for low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes under offset min-sum decoding is proposed. Based on this method, the thresholds for various offset factors are evaluated to find the optimum offset factor.
