  • Abstract
    We provide the theoretical modeling of optically pre-filtered AM subcarrier multiplexed systems, taking into account the coherence of the optical source. This model provides an useful tool to calculate the crosstalk impairment that appears in the subcarrier systems with optical prefiltering. Simulation carried on using realistic parameters is also presented that validates the results from the theoretical analysis
