Abstract :
A new design of high-frequency, telegraph transmitter is described in detail. This transmitter is capable of delivering 5 kilowatts of radio frequency power on any four frequencies in the range 3-25 mc/s simultaneously, with A1 or A2 emission. The transmitter is arranged with withdrawable rf units and modulator, which can be serviced while the remainder of the transmitter is in operation. The possibility of a re-arrangement of the units for high frequency broadcasting, frequency shift keying, and single sideband operation, is discussed.
