  • Abstract
We use low-pass filtering of baseband data to limit the transmitted RF bandwidth and permit operation of a sub-carrier channel in the presence of two adjacent channels, each with 17 dB higher optical power than the measured channel. Each channel carries 3 Mb/s, and the channel spacing is 6 MHz. Preliminary measurements indicate that an increase in channel spacing to approximately 7.5 MHz will increase the dynamic range beyond 20 dB.<>
