Abstract :
Thin film superconducting microstrip line has been studied using the method of lines. By modelling the superconductor with its complex conductivity, the approach explicitly includes the effects of the finite thickness of the superconducting strip which is comparable to that of the dielectric layer. The solution confirms that this type of guiding structure is ideally suited to terahertz applications.
