  • Abstract
Stable magnetization configurations have been obtained for magnetically soft cylindrical nanowire depending on wire diameter, aspect ratio, and material parameters by means of two-dimensional numerical simulation. For a sufficiently long wire there are two stable configurations whose magnetization is twisted near the wire ends with the same or opposite signs of the circumferential component. For a short wire toroidal domain wall, as well as highly deformed Neel type domain wall have been revealed. The characteristic length of the magnetization twisting is calculated numerically as function of wire diameter and its magnetic characteristics
