Abstract :
The effect of mesh partitioning on results obtained in numerical analysis of magnetization distribution using the two-dimensional integration method are discussed, and the results of this method compared with those obtained by the finite element method. Square and round magnetic bodies were treated as single magnetic domains in linear calculations, and were partitioned into square and triangular meshes with an aspect ratio h/w of from 1.0 to 2.1. It was found that to obtain a close approximation to the actual magnetization, a square mesh with an aspect ratio of about one must be used.
