Abstract :
Based on the result of the previous paper which reported the cause of high coercive force in Fe-Ni evaporated films to be stripe domains formed by perpendicular anisotropy, in turn casued by magnetoelastic anisotropy, low coercive force Fe-Ni evaporated films were formed by keeping the magnetoelastic anisotropy low. Fabricating 84.5%Ni Fe-Ni alloy film with the lowest possible magnetostriction constant at a substrate temperature of 220°C resulted in a 0.39 ¿m evaporated film with Hc less than 1 Oe.
