Abstract
Microstructure, static, and dynamic magnetic properties have been investigated for BaCoxZn2-xFe16O27 (x=1.0, 1.3, and 1.5) without and with doping of V2O 5 and the corresponding ferrite/polymer composites. Experimental result showed that doping with V2O5 can effectively modify the shape of the particles, significantly decrease the complex permittivity, and enhance the complex permeability. The composites, therefore, are potential candidates for electromagnetic (EM) attenuation materials with low reflectivity and broad bandwidth at microwave frequencies
