Abstract :
A periodically poled LiNbO3 (PPLN) waveguide that simultaneously converts the wavelengths of 25 GHz-spaced, 1.03 Tbit/s (103 ×10 Gbit/s) DWDM signals, from C-band to L-band, with the small guard band of 8 nm (4 nm×2) is shown. The converted signals have Q-factors of at least 15.6 dB.
