  • Abstract
    The lumped constant model of vertical Bloch lines proposed previously assumes zero VBL thickness, and thus neglects the repulsive force acting between VBL´s originating from exchange energy. In this report, a method of calculation which was developed to analyze magnetization twisting in multilayer magnetic films is applied in a one-dimensional analysis of domain walls and VBL, and an empirical formula is obtained relating the in-plane magnetic field Hs tangent to the wall and the VBL separation SB B.
