Abstract
Chromatic dispersion is important for optimizing the information carrying capacity of multimode fiber. The subtleties of implementing an accurate and precise chromatic dispersion measurement by the relative time of flight technique are described. This includes a comparison to single-mode fiber measurement and an evaluation of the launch conditions and the three-term Sellmeier fitting function.<>
