  • Abstract
    This note presents a new Fourier series expansion of the probability density function of noise at the output of a phase-shift keyed receiver. A recurrence relation for the coefficients is derived and a bound on the series truncation error is obtained. The convergence rate of the series is then estimated and discussed.
