Abstract :
A functional recursive scheme is described and linked with the equivalent random theory to estimate heterogeneous call blocking probabilities and "overflow" variances in toll network trunk groups. It is then used to calculate exactly the call blocking probabilities in multidimensional Kosten overflow and Engset finite source models. Numerical examples are shown.
