Abstract
The author computes the bit error probability of binary CPM with differential phase detection in a Rician fading channel using L-path maximum ratio combining diversity. The frequency pulses are rectangular, raised cosine and half sine of duration NT, N=1, 2, 3. The fading channel contains Doppler frequency shifts and time delays, hence it is both time and frequency selective
