Abstract :
The authors describe a method of temperature compensation in a sensor, consisting of stimulation and search coils, for use in unmanned transport systems. By choosing an operating frequency such that the temperature dependent of the two types of coils cancel each other, fluctuations in the sensor output in the temperature range ¿10 to 50°C were suppressed to within 10%.
