  • Abstract
    An artificial neuron with Schmitt trigger action potential pulsed outputs demonstrating pulsewidth modulation capability is presented. One signal processing application of this capability is the mimicking of neuronal burst phenomena without the need for explicitly generating burst trains of individual pulses.
