Abstract
The author explains how the return on investment and cash flow can be improved by using the overall equipment effectiveness measure throughout the asset lifecycle. This article looks at ways in which the overall equipment effectiveness measure can be used to enhance the capital investment process, starting with a fundamental questioning of whether the purchase is required in the first place
