Abstract :
Target object map (TOM) handover is the process of correlating 3-D tracks to 2-D sensor tracks on an interceptor with biases that are larger than the 2D separation of the targets. This paper presents a method to perform the bias estimation/track-to-track association with an algorithm that only increases with the square of the number of tracks over similar methods that increase as the fourth power of the number of targets.
