Abstract
We prove that the mapping of a nonzero single variable polynomial to the minimum of the absolute values of its roots is continuous. We deduce a strengthened version of Huang´s Stability Theorem as an immediate consequence. We present an algorithm for testing for zeros of two-variable polynomials inside the unit bidisk based on our results
