Abstract :
Following the late withdrawal of nuclear power from the UK Government´s privatisation plans a few years ago, Nuclear Electric set out on the giant task of demonstrating that it could be commercially competitive. Here, the author argues how the Government has yet to reveal its views but, at long last, the UK has the opportunity to capitalise on the unparalleled environmental and economic advantages nuclear power offers.<>
