  • Abstract
    This work presents a new general synthesis method for high-order current-mode OTA-C (operational transconductance amplifiers and capacitor) filters. The method is based on the analytical solution of a single, nth-order generic filter transfer function and the generation of n number of realizable transfer functions implemented using lossless integrators. The method provides systematic synthesis approach to high-order OTA-C filters. Furthermore, the method generates circuits that are optimal in terms of components count and without trading off any of the VLSI features of OTA-C filters. Simulation results are included validating the synthesis method.
