  • Abstract
    At Bletchley Park, home of the UK´s top-secret code-breaking activities in the Second World War, work is under way to rebuild Colossus, the machine that helped break the signal traffic of the German High Command. The author describes the origins of this machine and the task of restoring it to working order. The basic design and of operation of Colossus is discussed. Its fate at the end of the war and subsequent restoration progress is discussed
