Abstract :
A decision feedback detection scheme for differentially encoded MPSK signals based on the maximum likelihood algorithm is proposed. The performance on the symbol error rate of the system for an AWGN channel is derived by taking the error propagation into account. The error propagation can be stopped by introducing an error propagation detection technique
