Abstract :
A hybrid method, based on an integro-differential approach to eddy currents in laminated structures and a volume integral formulation for the magnetization vector, is applied to analyze dynamic processes in a synchrotron bending magnet. The results of the numerical simulation are compared with the experimental data.
