Abstract :
This paper introduces the use of wave digital filters in power system simulation, emphasizing hybrid real-time parity simulators. Implementation results show that the wave digital filters methodology is an adequate basic building block for power system transients simulation tools. An updated bibliography on real-time simulation is also presented
