Development of computer-controlled one-chip car tuner IC

The authors have developed a computer-controlled, one-chip car tuner IC that includes all FM stereo tuner functions for single-IF diversity, as well as an AM upconversion tuner. They describe the features and technological advantages of the AM upconversion tuner system block, which operates under computer control.
