Abstract :
A Bi-CMOS process was developed to produce a NTSC video-processing IC that draws on the particular advantages of both analog and digital processing techniques. It was possible to achieve good picture performance and to reduce the number of peripheral components. The features of the IC are that it uses many parameters to control picture characteristics by a compact bus interface; it has very stable synchronization with minimization of geometric distortion by the deflection processor; and it uses an adjustment-free filter. The specifications of the IC are given
