Abstract :
The authors describe the results from a study of the construction of an interpolation filter, and the determination method for the tap coefficients for the multiple sub-Nyquist sampling encoding (MUSE) HDTV decoder. They examine the skew-symmetric interpolation filter, consider the necessary conditions, and describe the deduction of an equation for the skew-symmetric interpolation filter. The application of the filter is described for moving and stationary area interpolation, where good characteristics were obtained
