Abstract :
A new multistandard digital convergence and focus system was developed for both rear and front projection TV, demonstrating high picture quality and different picture zoom modes. The key goals of this development project were low manufacturing cost, a high level of integration of functions, and application in a wide variety of different TV sets and standards. Fully automatic adjustment is possible, so production costs are low. In addition, a static loop using either electrical or optical feedback allows correction of convergence characteristics during set operation
