Abstract :
This paper describes a time-compressed singlesideband system (Ticoss), which, by use of time-sharing techniques, avoids many of the problems of a frequency-multiplexed system of the same capacity. Included in the discussion is a description of compressor-expander units for both voice and digital data systems.
