Abstract :
Dielectric measurements of small quantities of water in water/oil emulsions have been carried out by time domain reflectometry from 1 MHz to 1 GHz. Relaxation frequencies varying from 110 MHz for a volume fraction of 11% water in oil to about 210 MHz for a volume fraction of 1.5% water in oil are reported. Experimental ental results are compared with the existing emulsion theories.
