Abstract :
Microstructure and magnetic properties of the (FexCo1)76Mo8Cu1B15 amorphous metallic alloys (x = 3, 6, and 9) are investigated by macroscopic magnetic measurements as well as a local probe technique. The microstructure of alloys is described using the findings from Mössbauer spectrometry. Study of magnetic characteristics was aimed at obtaining optimal initial parameters for simulation process in choke cores. The results obtained from numerical analysis of choke cores, i.e., core losses and winding losses were compared with the same parameters obtained for commercial materials such as FINEMET and Fe-3.2% Si alloys. Analysis of the magnetic properties shows that the investigated material can be applied in highly sensitive electrical devices.
