Abstract :
A description is given of the InvestiGATOR, an integrated computer based instructional (CBI) delivery system for the broadly defined baseline study of signal and systems, which includes systems, communications, circuits, controls, power, signal processing, and DSP. The goal of the InvestiGATOR is to be a unifying agent and, in particular, to provide hands-on educational experience, understanding of the theory of learning, robust educational technology, and teacher and institutional acceptance. The rationale for and benefits of the InvestiGATOR are discussed, and its development is described.<>
