  • Abstract
    High-moment FeCoN soft magnetic films with Bs of 23.5 kG were prepared using reactive dc magnetron sputtering and were used in inductive write heads for both longitudinal recording demonstration at 130 Gb/in2 and perpendicular recording demonstration at 145 Gb/in2.
