Abstract :
This paper outlines a practical coordination approach of long- and short-term optimization. Pseudo prices are used as coupling variables. To take uncertainty aspects into account, fuzzy set theory is incorporated to evaluate the pseudo prices. In this paper, various aspects of the proposed approach are discussed, and its application to a real utility system is illustrated
