Abstract :
Measurements of magnetization and magnetic anisotropy have been carried out with polycrystalline ferrite films of micron-range thicknesses. An important feature of the technique used is its capability of determining magnetization without specific knowledge of sample volume, which can be difficult to measure accurately in situations of nonuniform thickness. From these results, noncrystallinity and effects associated with rapid deposition of ferrite films are understood
