Abstract :
A general method is introduced to frequency domain analysis of arbitrary lossy inhomogeneous planar layers. In this method, all electric and magnetic parameters and also all components of the electric and magnetic fields are expanded in a Taylor´s series. The field solutions are obtained after finding unknown coefficients of the series. The validity of the method is verified using analysis of some special types of planar layers.
