Abstract :
Various amounts of vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) were introduced to the NiCuZn ferrite to reduce the sintering temperature. The V+5 cations entered the crystal lattice of the ferrite and improved the initial permeability and quality factor, 0.5 mol% of V2O5 was required to form the liquid phase for enhancing the densification of this composition at 875°C. However, the grain boundary phase deteriorated the magnetic properties of the material
