Abstract
Since more and more electromagnetic devices are supplied by static converters, the classification and evaluation of the energetic performance of soft magnetic materials with static supply is becoming mandatory. In this paper, the possibility to define a standard methodology for the iron losses measurements, with static supply, is analysed in order to underline the main problems that can be found when standard measurements are carried out with non sinusoidal source
