Abstract
Multipath transmission can substantially affect the directivity characteristics of antennas used in cellular systems. A simple propagation model consisting of a ring of scatterers round the mobile is considered. Calculations of the distribution of received levels in the minor lobe region are compared with measurements and a modified model is proposed.<>
