Abstract
A tiny, saturating current transformer, located in the drain lead, can be used to feed energy to the gate of a power metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) to compensate for the energy diverted from the gate by the gate-drain (Miller) capacitance, thereby reducing the MOSFET turn-on time
