Abstract :
Current hearing aids based on analogue technology are often unsuitable for correction of dysfunction and use in particular environments. This article describes a development using digital signal processing devices. Two devices have evolved: a bench resident master hearing aid and a body worn aid. An audiogram matching algorithm is used with the development and the devices have been tested using normal audiometric practice.
