Abstract :
Today´s content management systems produce Web pages on the fly that look just like ones handcrafted by humans. However, many CMSs´ URLs are extremely long and undiscipherable, so you might not be able to tell what´s on that page by just looking at the URL. While those systems´ designers seem to know little about how users will use that content, other CMSs are more user-friendly. This essay explores differing CMS requirements and goals.
