Abstract
The present paper shows that graph theory can (easily) be used as a tool to predict the reliability of broadcasting transmitters. The study is carried out on a broadcasting system formed by two transmitters which are fed from a common power supply unit. Graph theory is used to find the steady-state behavior of a seven state system (the broadcasting transmitters) described by a Markov model. A computer package that implements the algorithm formulation is developed. The results of the broadcasting transmitters are successfully obtained and compared with solutions produced using the circuit simulation program SPICE (simulation program with integrated circuit emphasis), where a high accuracy is clear from the obtained results.
