Abstract
The DC-type voltage reset characteristics of amorphous thin tape-wound cores were examined systematically up to 500 kHz. A square-wave gate source was employed in the instrument. We changed the conventional definition of reset force because reset current flows reversely against control voltage when the reset circuit is turned on. The voltage reset characteristic and the control magnetization curve (CMC) [1] agree well with each other regardless of the tape thickness. This agreement may be due to a similar mechanism in dynamic domain reversal. Change of the control characteristics in a high frequency magnetic amplifier against control circuit resistance is based on the difference of the time rate of flux reversal.
