Abstract :
A packet selection scheme, based on channel quality estimation, for Bluetooth is described. Link management based on this scheme can adaptively select a packet for maximising throughput while minimising transmission delay at any given channel quality, and can provide new degrees of freedom for higher layer issues such as buffer control, routing, QoS service and support of multimedia data
