Abstract :
A 2.5 GHz-spaced demultiplexer with 128 output ports for use as an optical spectrum analyser covering the C- and L-bands of optical fibre amplifiers is constructed. It consists of a 160 GHz-spaced 37×74 first-stage arrayed-waveguide grating (AWG), two 1×8 optical switches and a 2.5 GHz-spaced 128-channel second-stage AWG
