  • Abstract
    A dual-mode system is presented which combines the fast transient response, and unlimited lock and capture range capabilities of proportional speed control system (incorporating inner current control loop) with high-speed accuracy of phase-locked loop (PLL) drive. The detailed design considerations and experimental investigation of the drive are presented.
