Communication means and habits have evolved steadily during the entire history of humanity. However, during the last decade we observed a dramatic evolution. Technical progress allows new ways of communication, and new techniques and habits are rapidly spreading over the world. Mobile phones and Internet connections can be found in the most remote locations. These new ways of communicating are having an impact on the everyday life of billions of people.
